Xavier Catholic College Wurrumiyanga (XCCW) provides a Quality Catholic Tiwi Education for students from Year Seven to Year Thirteen. Teaching vacancies are advertised through the Catholic Education Office Northern Territory www.ceont.catholic.edu.au and Teachers on Net www.teachers.on.net The Principal welcomes expressions of interest to be kept on file from appropriately qualified and committed teachers who can support and contribute to our vision of a Quality Catholic Tiwi Education.

Essential Selection Criteria:

- Willingness to support and contribute to the Catholic Ethos of the College

- Ability to gain Teacher Registration in the Northern Territory and obtain a current Working with Children Clearance Card (Ochre Card)

Highly Desired Selection Criteria:

- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School (Accreditation B)

- ESL / TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) experience or qualifications

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)

- Knowledge and/or experience in teaching the Accelerated Literacy program

- Ability and willingness to teach across a number of Learning Areas

- Flexible, team orientated, resilient and determined
